Fun

Soroptimist International of Novato is not all just work.  We enjoy our friendships and doing things together outside of Soroptimist meetings and events.  We visit museums, go on special shopping trips, enjoy exploring our community, or just have lunch together.

We always welcome non-Soroptimist members to join us.  For information on upcoming outings, contact Patty Smith.

Some of our recent fun events:

Summer 2021:

Floral Arrangement Workshop - Members participated in half day workshop where they took a tour of Mac's Garden and learned how to properly cut and condition flowers. They made selections to use in their arrangement, and took home unique creation made entirely of local sustainably grown flowers.

Claude Monet "Later Years" - Six members of our club had a really lovely day in San Francisco, touring the Claude Monet "Later Years" exhibit at the de Young museum.  The paintings are so warm and vital! And we had a delightful lunch in the museum restaurant before heading back north.  All in all, a wonderful, companionable day.
