Soroptimist International of Novato works hard to raise funds for the scholarships and awards they provide that improve the lives of women and girls.

To Fund A Need, click on one of the following:

Platinum $2,500
Fund one year of high school education and housing for a Daraja girl in Kenya who would otherwise not be able to attend school.
Fund two Live Your Dream awards.

Helps a financially challenged woman pay for college, career training or completing a doctoral degree in order to better the lives of herself and her children.
Sponsors a woman to attend the Leadership Novato Program.
The Leadership Novato Program partners with the City of Novato, the Novato Unified School District, the Novato Sanitary District, the North Marin Water District, and the Novato Fire Protection District to provide students with knowledge and valuable leadership skills which can prepare them for future government positions.

Provides High School scholarships awarded to graduating seniors for their academic achievement and community support activities.
Helps a woman and/or girl buy the books and materials she needs for college and specialized training programs.

Provides essential funds to women and girls for everyday expenses such as class materials and transportation as they pursue their education.
