Soroptimist Club Organization
Soroptimist International is an association of business and professional women interested in projects that better the lives of women and girls on a local, national, and international level. The name SOROPTIMIST means “best for women,” and what the organization strives to achieve.
In 2019 the Tag Line was officially changed to be "Investing in Dreams."
As an international organization, Soroptimist is divided into districts, regions, and federations. The local Novato club is a small part of a huge organization involving thousands of women throughout the world.
Soroptimist International of Novato is our local club.
The Novato club is one of 13 clubs making District III. There are regular Presidents Roundtable meetings and an annual District meeting.
The Founder Region is made up of five districts or 55 clubs. We are proud to be in the Founders Region where it all began.
SIA is one of four federations of the international clubs and is headquartered in Philadelphia, PA.
SI, or Soroptimist International, is made up of the four federations which includes all clubs in the world. This is an awesome organization!
