Do You Know What "Llama Beans" Are?
 Llama beans are an innovative new way of raising funds for the many local projects that our club funds each year.
Llama beans are the natural output of llamas—in short, llama poop. And llama poop turns out to be one of the most desirable fertilizers available.
Bags of llama beans are sold on Organic Gardening Day, which is usually the first Sunday in May, outside Pini Hardware store at 1535 South Novato Blvd.
Proceeds provide funding for scholarships and other local projects supporting the club’s goal of improving the lives of women and girls.  Novato Public Access Television (NPAT) provides the studio, cameras, and technical support for our productions which air on Channel 26 at 7 p.m. on Wednesday evenings Saturday mornings at 10 a.m. Learn more>> Annual Lobster Sale
 Soroptimist members annually sell live Maine lobsters flown in specially to us for distribution. If you prefer cooked lobsters, we will arrange for them to be cooked.

Learn more >> Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show  Soroptimist International of Novato presents a very special event - our annual luncheon, fashion show, and silent auction.
This festive event is held on a Springtime Saturday at the Margaret Todd Senior Center in Novato.
A delicious lunch combined with a lively choreographed fashion show promises a fun afternoon for all. Our Projects

 Gilead House is a faith-based transitional home for single mothers in need located in Novato, California. Soroptimist International of Novato is a major supporter of this program that is designed to provide local women with not only housing, but also the skills and support they need to build a sustainable, healthy life for themselves and their families.
